Why Our Soap?

There are many benefits of using Mia's Wish handmade soap: simple ingredients, fewer chemicals, good for the environment.  Did I mention the excellent skin-loving qualities?  Read on...

Let's explore commercially-bought soaps:  do you wonder why your skin feels dry, itchy, irritated or has a residue on it after you shower or wash your hands?  Many people have been buying and trying different soaps, lotions and creams to remedy this problem, yet the results are still the same.

Almost all commercial soap purchased in the store is not real soap.  It is actually made of chemicals such as Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS), Laureth Sulphate (SLES), parabens and petroleum distillates (not natural oils and butters). Commercial soap companies use SLS and SLES as bulk fillers for their soap. They also use parabens to extend the shelf life, which are rapidly absorbed and stored in the body. Glycerin is a natural byproduct of soap which is soothing to the skin, is considered a natural skin lotion, is expensive and is in lotions, moisturizers, skin ointments, etc. However, most commercial soap companies remove the glycerin from their products so they can resell it to other industries, thus making the cost of their product cheaper. This is the reason why your skin can have a residue on it and be dry or itchy after usage.  Not to mention that commercial soaps without glycerin can't moisturize your pores and skin.

Handmade soap from Mia's Wish is made from pure, natural vegetable oils and contains all of the naturally occurring glycerin, which helps attract moisture and give it back to your skin.  We specially handcraft our soap in small batches to ensure that each bar of soap is not only beautiful in appearance, but has excellent cleansing properties and leaves your skin silky, smooth, rich and creamy after regular use.

Buy Mia's Wish handmade soap made of the good stuff, give your skin (the largest human organ) what it deserves.  Once you try our soap, you won't want to go back to buying commercially produced soaps again!

No detergents, no sulfates, no parabens, no animal testing, ever.
